The 24th
We only bought 2 fountain fireworks and some sparklers and some crackle balls...but we totally had a blast. I set the camera up on the tripod and messed with my remote shutter release to get some festive family pictures that I was actually in for once!! There have been a few days in the last couple of weeks that have just felt slower, more relaxed...treasures amid my hectic summer schedule. I am glad I got to take a few pictures to keep, these moments with my family are too precious to miss or forget.
This kid is very interested in the sparklers, but at the same time scared to death! It makes me laugh! If you try to get too close he'll crawl right over you to get away (which is why he's glued to me in the shot where I'm holding him and a sparkler at the same time. he was terrified!)

So cute! We celebrated the 24th by going to bed super early because half the family was sick. :( I can see how torn Jamison is about the sparklers. He looks like he really likes them but he's happier if he's not the one holding them. I love that he's in his pajamas for the show. Those photos are a perfect slice of summer life. And I think your remote thingy is so cool. I realized the other day that I hardly ever appear in my blog because I'm always behind the camera.
